SED production delayed

Surface-conduction electron-emitted displays, anticipated by many to be the successor of the LCD display, have been delayed. Toshiba announced in October that it would start full production of 55" SED TVs in July 2007, but with news this week of continuing lawsuits between Canon and Nano-Proprietary, Toshiba may be forced to suspend development and manufacturing of SEDs.

I weep.
